Works As Described, Nice Hold, Nice Smell - Not Too Potent
This hair gel works as it should. It is definitely a "casual hold" as it doesn't make your hair feel crispy and crunchy. When I used it, my hair was still somewhat flexible. For me, it's a good in between of the two. The scent of this is a nice one and isn't too potent, either. All in all, this works as described and in my opinion is a very nice product.
Excellent styling gel
BOLD Styling Gel is excellent. Featuring a crystal-clear, non-greasy gel that makes it easy to get a very hip โcasual holdโ, every dude should use BOLD Styling gel.<br /><br />The photo shows an open jar of BOLD Styling Gel. As you can (not) see, the gel is practically invisible when peering into the black-colored jar. Wow! BOLD Styling Gel can be applied after shower on damp hair - or anytime at all. BOLD Styling Gel empowers me to shape up my look, as much or as little as I want, anytime. I like that.<br /><br />I highly recommend BOLD Styling gel to everyone.

Smells a little like sour patch kids, decent hold
Iโm sick of using big-box store tube gel and want to get back to using more boutique products.<br /><br />I opened this and was NOT expecting it to be clear.<br />Itโs a cross between a gel and pomade.<br /><br />I really like the smell. Something like fait sour patch kids.<br /><br />It holds well too, not greasy, not gooey etc.<br /><br />Iโm glad I ordered this to give it a try.
Works on every level...
So, for a man who thinks his looks strike a resemblance to that of Anderson Cooper.. (bc, of the devilishly handsome silver fox short crew cut) mixed with a longer (3/4โ) faux-hawk frontal vibe.. this is a great product to work with this style as it complements the cut really well! As one whoโs always used hair gel (daily x30+ yrs!) itโs hard to find one we have not tried. Bold Men casual- sold just under $20 for 3.3oz. Is a higher price point so, the expectations were high and happy to say, this came through impressively.<br /><br />This gel has an ability to last thru the day without becoming razor sharp quills nor, a crusty-crumbly flake after a full day of wear in tear. Being one who prefers a touchable hold (the hardest combo to find btw!!) this gives that to you.. We found, unlike cheaper store bought brands- less is more! (too much will weigh down the hair) **A trick of the trade for any who want to accomplish short spikes- use less product!!<br /><br />Best results came from using no more than a nickel size amount onto towel (50%) dried hair.. and finger combing into place. The hold stays movably put.. performing better then ever expected- yay!! TBH, this may take getting used too.. IF, youโre norm is the โfrozen gel look!โ Hack: one can finger style hair into place with this- then, use blow dryer on a lower setting for just a moment.. it will expedite the setting process- giving specific direction to the final look. (A convertible would do the same but.. not sure Itโs feasible in winter ha ha!)<br /><br />Product is thick yet, offers just enough slip to give you pliability to style before it settles. Note: color is clearโฆ Itโs just the container that is black! After hair is set, this absorbs vs. shellacs to the hair- letting hair have movement and touchable texture.. The scent is nice with a masculine appeal And after 3wks. of daily application weโve used approx. a tad over 1/4 of content (to give you an idea how long it will last..) thus far, washing daily weโve noticed no unwanted build up.. which is also a big deal- as this can lead to flakes/Dandruff..!! A good shampoo scrub removes product easily enough.. and paired with daily conditioner, itโs not over-drying to the hair. Making the $ seem worth all the quality benefits.<br /><br />This is a top quality higher end product that best fits those who have a moveable set style they like their hair to maintain throughout the day.. this can achieve the desired look and look fantastic- and does so, without all the unwanted side effects that can come with daily use of hair gel.. Works as described, its not a strong hold so not good for my kids, by the end of the day their hair wasn't neat. But my husband did like it. Its shiny so your hair doesn't look wet it looks nice and combed. smell nice and no white flakes. Reason I didn't give it 5 stars it is small for the price.
Causal hold for are
Does a fair job at styling hair. Definitely a "casual hold". Not recommended for children it doesn't hold up to their chaos. Works well for myself.
Casual hold.
I got this for my husband to give it a try and after using it couple of times he said it works well for him.It gives a casual hold,he wished it would hold better because he had a very thick hair which is kind of tricky to style.The smell is very good and the product in general is satisfying.
